Goodwill San Antonio President and CEO joins greater: SATX 2024 Executive Committee

SAN ANTONIO (November 28, 2023) - Today, greater: SATX announced the 2024 slate of Executive Committee members. These volunteer leaders represent some of the most passionate and influential regional leaders committed to advancing the organization’s efforts to invest in people and places to grow quality jobs for San Antonians.

Preserving consistency in key leadership roles, Randy Smith, CEO of Weston Urban, will continue to serve as Chairman in 2024, while Bryant Ambelang, CEO of Silver Ventures, will assume the role of Vice Chair.

Current Executive Committee member, Esperanza “Hope” Andrade, CEO of Andrade & Associates, will become an officer in the role of Secretary. A former Texas Secretary of State, Hope is a lifelong advocate for San Antonio and its economic prosperity. A successful entrepreneur who has created and grown multiple companies, Hope brings a broad business perspective with particular expertise in healthcare, transportation, workforce, and economic development.

Joining the Committee as Treasurer is Ben Peavy, Chief Information Officer of Accenture Federal Services. Ben brings over 30 years of IT industry experience, and he has led Accenture San Antonio community and business engagement since 2016. In addition, Ben is currently the chair of the City of San Antonio Ready to Work advisory board.

Additional regional business and community leaders joining the Executive Committee in 2024 include Carlos Contreras, CEO of Goodwill; Mikeal Clayton, Chief Counsel & Sr. Director of External Relations of Boeing; and Gary Joeris, CEO of Joeris General Contractors.
