Fiesta medal events support San Antonio Food Bank, provides opportunity to learn about Goodwill career programs and services

SAN ANTONIO, TX – (June 14, 2021) – Fiesta medal hunters, get ready! After waiting a year for the festivities to commence, Goodwill San Antonio is excited to partake in this year’s celebration by offering multiple opportunities for fans and supporters to acquire the non-profit’s 2020 75th Anniversary Fiesta medal at no cost.

Goodwill Fiesta Medal Giveaway in Support of the San Antonio Food Bank

Donate 5 non-perishable food items in support of the San Antonio Food Bank from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. inside select Goodwill stores on the following dates to receive a free Goodwill Fiesta Medal:

Tuesday, June 15                    Goodwill Austin Hwy. Store (1533 Austin Hwy. 78218)

Wednesday, June 16              Goodwill Marbach Store (1739 SW Loop 410 78227)    

Friday, June 18                       Goodwill Goliad Store (2902 Goliad Rd. 78223)

Saturday, June 19                  Goodwill Blanco North Store (18478 Blanco Rd. 78258)   

Food donations are to be placed inside the San Antonio Food Bank red barrel located within each of the above listed Goodwill store locations on the specified date in exchange for a free Fiesta medal. Quantities are limited. One medal per person, while supplies last.

The twelve most wanted food items for the San Antonio Food Bank include:  Peanut butter, cereal, tuna, beans, rice, mac & cheese, chili & soups, baby food & diapers, canned lunch meat, pet food, full meals can/box, and pop top food items.
