Glo Armmer hails from San Antonio, TX.  Along with taping for HBO’s Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry, she has opened for performers such as Rickey Smiley,  Mo’Nique, Yolanda Adams, Patti LaBelle, and Mary J. Blige. 

Until it’s retirement after 13 years, Glo co-hosted 2^nd Verse, which was named the best open mic in the nation by the National Poetry Awards for two consecutive years.
