Noraima: A Story of Perseverance

Meet Noraima! đź‘‹

After facing one financial setback after another, she began to lose sight of her dreams. However, life took a turn for the better when a former student of the Goodwill Academy shared her journey, which reignited a spark within her.

After enrolling in the Medical Assistant program she rediscovered her passion for helping others, and with a new perspective on life, she began to find meaning again. Since earning her certification, she was offered a full-time position at Sonterra Internal Medicine and is excited for her future.

“Goodwill Academy gave me the courage to keep going,” she says. “It’s amazing all the opportunities they gave me,” Noraima said.
