FASHION and Day of the Dead ✨ What's Good, Goodwill? Ep. 3

What’s Good, Goodwill? Episode. 3. In a fusion of cultural celebration and environmental consciousness, Goodwill San Antonio took center stage at this year’s annual #Muertosfest event- showcasing our commitment to sustainable shopping and community engagement with a fashion show.

Following the fashion show’s theme of “Estrellas de Nuestra Vida,” the runway came alive with vibrant colors and elaborate designs. The models, who all work for Goodwill San Antonio wore outfits crafted from clothing and materials found at various Goodwill stores. As Dia de los Muertos continues to gain recognition and evolve beyond its Mexican roots, events like the Sustainable Fashion Show showcase the importance of preserving cultural heritage while adapting to contemporary views of environmental sustainability. Goodwill’s participation in the event is an awe-inspiring example of how fashion and tradition can be blended to honor our past and planet.
