Goodwill San Antonio Unveils Symbolic 2024 Fiesta Medal

Goodwill San Antonio 2024 Fiesta Medal

Goodwill San Antonio has unveiled its symbolic 2024 Fiesta medal, illustrating how Goodwill is more than a store. This year’s design highlights the impact that Goodwill has on the community, providing GOOD jobs, career training, and employment placement services to local individuals.

The festive medal features a spinning disc that displays various icons, each representing a different facet of Goodwill’s work. The shopping cart represents Goodwill’s retail stores and the act of donating and shopping, reminding us that every item donated and purchased supports Goodwill's mission to Help Change Lives Through the Power of Work.

The handshake signifies the importance of hiring and contracting through Goodwill, fostering economic opportunities and partnerships within the community.

The graduation cap represents career training and employment placement services, highlighting Goodwill's commitment to empowering individuals with the skills and support they need to succeed in the workforce.

The heart symbolizes the sense of community that lies at the heart of Goodwill's mission, emphasizing the organization's dedication to building a stronger, more inclusive San Antonio.

The medal will be available beginning Friday, April 5, 2024, at four of its store locations: Commerce Street, Fredericksburg Road, Bandera Road, and South Park. Medals are available for a donation of $10, or FREE when shoppers make an in-store purchase of $30 or more.

Additionally, if shoppers need inspiration or affordable pieces for the Fiesta season, Goodwill’s Commerce location (406 Commerce St.) will serve as the official Goodwill Fiesta Central. The store will be stocked with fiesta-themed clothing, home decor and accessories.
