GOODWILL EXPANDING COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPING SERVICES
Demand for contractors during spring season prompts nonprofit's push into commercial sector
SAN ANTONIO (March 12, 2015) — Building upon 20 years of experience, Goodwill Industries of San Antonio is expanding to serve the growing demand for licensed grounds maintenance and landscaping contractors in commercial markets across South Texas.
A trusted contractor with the U.S. Department of Defense, Goodwill has high performance ratings on landscape and grounds maintenance work for the U.S. Air Force and Army. Goodwill’s commercial landscape services are licensed and certified. Employees pass background checks and drug screenings, and are trained to focus on customer service.
“Our exceptional service begins with costing our jobs and contracts accurately, providing a fair price on services required,” said Mark McKeever, vice president of Contract Services. “It continues on the ground where all our uniformed, friendly and professional employees are properly insured and comply with the highest standards of health, safety and environmental quality requirements.”
Goodwill offers an extensive range of commercial grounds maintenance, tree/shrub care, landscaping and irrigation services to meet the needs of government and institutional entities, multifamily residential structures, and commercial businesses. These services do not cover residential or home landscaping needs.
While Goodwill has focused on government contracting, it has seen growing demand from the private sector, especially in commercial real estate, homeowners associations, and multifamily communities.
The Goodwill Contract Services division employs more than 500 individuals. Of every dollar generated, nearly 90 cents is used to fund mission services and programs that provide education and training opportunities to assist individuals in obtaining jobs and building careers throughout the South-Central Texas region.
“This means clients directly contribute to the improvement of economic conditions in the communities where they are located,” adds McKeever.
McKeever is confident that commercial customers will have their high expectations exceeded.
Goodwill’s Professional Commercial Landscape Services model has been built around outstanding project management to deliver the highest value to customers at a price consistent with the quality of services delivered.
