GOODWILL ANNOUNCES NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
Gail Ribalta joins San Antonio leadership team with experience in nonprofit, corporate sectors
SAN ANTONIO (March 11, 2015) — Goodwill Industries of San Antonio is announcing the addition of Gail Ribalta as Senior Vice President of Marketing to its leadership team.
Ribalta leads marketing operations for Goodwill as a seasoned senior marketing executive with a successful track record in operating businesses in multiple industries.
“Gail’s expertise with a focus on research and the digital space will strategically position Goodwill for growth,” said Goodwill President and CEO Marla Jackson. “She is a strategic thinker who effectively communicates our value proposition.”
Having held leadership positions at Texas Instruments, Harcourt Assessment, Mattel Toys and Edvance Research among others, Ribalta has been recognized as an innovative problem solver with experience in all aspects of consumer and B2B marketing and product development.
Ribalta has spent much of her career in international marketing where she has developed markets, launched products, and also has a solid foundation in operations and finance.
Her extensive knowledge in market research and analysis has been a major strength in communicating and incorporating research findings into strategy and practical application.
A major proponent of community outreach, Ribalta has also been instrumental in providing support for a number of community organizations including the Texas Diversity Council, the Children’s Shelter, National Association of Women Business Owners and Communities in Schools.
She serves as an adjunct professor in the MBA Program at Norwich University and serves on the Dean's Advisory Council for the University of Texas at San Antonio’s College of Liberal and Fine Arts.
Ribalta earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science at Rutgers University and a Masters of International Management MBA in international marketing and international finance at Thunderbird, Global School of Management.
