Workforce Development Month Spotlight: Meet Julie
September is a special time at Goodwill San Antonio. It’s officially the start of Workforce Development Month! To celebrate, we are highlighting several individuals who have had remarkable success with the assistance of Goodwill.
Meet Julie! At her lowest point, Julie was homeless and battling addiction. Determined to turn her life around, she walked into the Good Careers Center at our South Park store. There, she connected with a Career Services Specialist who helped her create a resume and land a job at that very same Goodwill store.
Today, Julie is sober and thriving in her new role. Recently she shared her inspiring story at our Mega Job Fair where she inspired others- reminding us all that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
