Meet Makayla, a determined young woman who recently graduated from our Good Careers Academy with her Nurse’s Aide certification! 🏥 Discovering her passion for helping others, Makayla’s decision to pursue a career in healthcare was influenced by her aunt who also graduated from the program. A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
