Smiles of Goodwill - Meet Bert
Meet Bert! 👋🇺🇸
Before becoming the General Manager of our Bulverde North location, Bert proudly served our country in the Air Force Reserves and was called to active duty after 9/11.
From his military service to community leadership, Bert is continuing to make a difference in his community today. 🙌
“I live and breathe the core values that the Air Force has instilled in me: integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do,” said Bert. “And I am truly humbled and blessed to be part of a great organization here at Goodwill.”
Thank you, Bert, for your service and all that you do for Goodwill San Antonio! đź‘Ź
Brittany’s determination and support from Goodwill Academy helped her overcome loss and homelessness, begin a medical assistant career, and create a home for herself and her six children.
A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
