Mignonne: A Story of Hope
As Mignonne and her husband were preparing to move to San Antonio, she lost her mother, sister, and brother within three months. Devastated, the challenges escalated when her husband lost his retirement benefits. Mignonne was scared of not having money coming in, and scared for the future.
A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
When Henry moved to San Antonio, finding a job was his top priority. He visited a Goodwill San Antonio Career Center for help with his resume, not knowing the visit would lead him to an opportunity at Goodwill.
