Micaela: A Story of Opportunity
Born with cerebral palsy, Micaela hasn’t let a disability limit her ability to succeed. With the help of Goodwill San Antonio Business Services, and their partnership with the AbilityOne Program, she now has a career that gives her a sense of duty.
Brittany’s determination and support from Goodwill Academy helped her overcome loss and homelessness, begin a medical assistant career, and create a home for herself and her six children.
A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
