Eddie: A Story of Hope
Prior to working at Goodwill, Eddie was homeless, unemployed, and a new father. With the birth of his daughter, he knew he had to step up and provide for her. Goodwill helped him achieve financial stability and a new outlook on life.
Brittany’s determination and support from Goodwill Academy helped her overcome loss and homelessness, begin a medical assistant career, and create a home for herself and her six children.
A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
