Crystal: A Story of Second Chances
A difficult childhood led Crystal to poor choices and prison, Goodwill San Antonio led her to a new beginning through their Re-Entry Program. Now, Crystal is applying the skills learned while at Goodwill in her manufacturing job and is earning well above a living wage.
Brittany’s determination and support from Goodwill Academy helped her overcome loss and homelessness, begin a medical assistant career, and create a home for herself and her six children.
A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
