Clarissa: A Story of Determination
Clarissa attended Goodwill’s on-campus Pharmacy Technician program at Lytle High School during her senior year. Having the program held at the high school was not only convenient, but enabled her to simultaneously earn a trade certification as a Pharmacy Technician in addition to her high school diploma.
A flyer and a phone call led Zackary to Goodwill’s no-cost Construction Boot Camp, where he gained new skills and support to pursue a career in construction.
After moving from Afghanistan to San Antonio, Mohammad turned to Goodwill San Antonio’s NXT Level program for support. Today, he has earned his GED, enrolled in college and is pursuing a future in technology.
When Henry moved to San Antonio, finding a job was his top priority. He visited a Goodwill San Antonio Career Center for help with his resume, not knowing the visit would lead him to an opportunity at Goodwill.
