Hi everybody! This is Eileen, an amateur thrifting-loving girl that loves going on adventures with her friends and loves having coffee every single morning before anything else. This month, I really wanted to talk about the different brands that have used an “eco-friendly” tag on recent lines to promote their products and how to counteract them.

Hey everyone!! For this month's blog post I want to talk about HOW I thrift. A lot of people understand the “why” behind thrifting for sustainability but find the switch to thrift intimidating. And, I totally get that! Thrifting is different but in a lot of ways that is what makes it so much fun.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always savored the art of hunting for deals. My mom has always thought me to save my money up and to this day. The VERY. FIRST. PLACE. I got to in any regular store I go to is the sale section. It is not unusual for me and my family to be seen at the yard sales around town and bargaining around at the flea markets.

Casual Friday, YAY!  So, I’ve got my jeans on and an Evan Picone jacket I discovered on a recent Goodwill SA treasure hunt.  Goodwill SA provides me with sustainable, affordable fashion that makes it possible for me to have shorter jackets in my wardrobe now....

Hey! My name is Valeria Martinez. I'm an army wife and a mother of three children. For years as a military family there was no consistency; no place to call home. Year after year it was just a temporary house without the 'home sweet home' feeling.  I have always loved nesting. However, six years ago it became more meaningful when we purchased our home. A nest to call our very own.

I’ve always been a curious soul, ever learning and intrigued by personal growth. However, limited by finances and the restrictions a single parent faces, I assumed that continuing education was just not an option.

Hello everybody! Before I get into things, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Jeanelly Concepcion, and I’m a fashion blogger with TheFashionLotus.com. I created my blog in 2012 as a way to share my personal style journal, fabulous finds on a budget and exercise my creative side I didn’t even know I had.

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is having a great start to the New Year. I started off 2020 by doing what I love most - T H R I F T I N G! I actually think January is one of the best months of the year to try thrifting because so many people purge their closets after the holidays and there are plenty of hidden gems to be found! This was by far one of my favorite thrift trips so far.
