This February, Goodwill San Antonio invites the community to embrace fresh starts with its “Break Up With Your Ex’s Stuff” donation drive. The campaign encourages individuals to donate items from past relationships like clothing, furniture, and household goods to turn what no longer serves them into opportunities for others.
As part of the campaign, donors who “break up” with their ex’s stuff and drop off their donations at any San Antonio Goodwill beginning on Thursday, February 12, will receive a limited edition sticker as a light-hearted nod to closure, while supplies last.
Every donation to Goodwill San Antonio directly supports the nonprofit’s mission of Changing lives through the power of work. Retail proceeds from donated items fuel more than 1,700 jobs within the organization, as well as career training and employment placement services through the Goodwill Academy & Career Services.
With a firm belief in opportunity for all, Goodwill San Antonio opens doors to meaningful employment for people facing life barriers. Through Goodwill Academ, individuals can earn vocational certifications aligned with in-demand fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, and more. Goodwill’s Career Centers provide personalized support for job seekers including resume assistance, interview preparation, and connections to local opportunities. These services are offered at no cost to participants, thanks to the generosity of the community.
To share a little extra love, Goodwill stores will have a 50% off sale during Valentine’s Day weekend(February 14 and 15).
