The distribution center will have clothes, shoes, and household goods that have been donated specifically to those impacted by the floods in Kerr County.
KERRVILLE, Texas — One organization is expanding its relief efforts in the Hill Country.
Goodwill is opening its donation distribution center Monday in Kerrville so those impacted by the floods can have easy access to what’s been donated.
Goodwill’s Donation Distribution Center will offer free access to donated items including clothing, shoes, and household goods. Community members impacted by the floods are encouraged to visit the center location during operating hours.
Goodwill says that so far, they’ve collected over thirty tons of donations.
Because of the amount of donations they’ve collected, they’re not accepting any more donations. Those that buy at Goodwill in San Antonio, can round up their purchases until August 10, those proceeds will go towards the Kerr County Relief Fund.
The distribution site will be located at 827 Junction Highway, Suite 831, where it will be open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday.
This week, it’s open every day but moving forward, it will be open Wednesday through Sunday.
