Our hearts are with our neighbors affected by the recent devastating floods. At Goodwill San Antonio, we’re committed to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our community in times of crisis.
In response to the recent flooding across Kerr County, Goodwill has collected over 30 tons of in-kind donations and is now expanding its relief efforts with the opening of a Goodwill Donation Distribution Center to support those affected. The effort is part of a coordinated response with the American Red Cross of Central and South Texas (ARC).
How You Can Help
Due to the overwhelming support of the general public, accepting of donations are on hold and the focus has shifted to ensuring those impacted can easily access available resources. Goodwill’s Donation Distribution Center will offer free access to donated items including clothing, shoes, and household goods. Community members impacted by the floods are encouraged to visit the center location during operating hours.

Stay Smart About Donations
In times like this, unfortunately, scammers try to take advantage. Before donating to any group or cause, verify that the organization is legitimate. You can use sites like CharityWatch or GuideStar to research nonprofits.
