The gift of your time volunteering to help Goodwill is a treasure we count on every single day. Hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life choose to donate their valuable time and talent to Goodwill. Because Goodwill stores are open seven days a week there is a time slot for everyone.
Getting Organized with Trinity

On January 21st, students from the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity at Trinity University gave a helping hand to our NAPO "Get Organized" event at the Goodwill on 281 & Bitters.
This co-ed student service organizaion spent the afternoon arranging donations, stacking food items for the San Antonio Food Bank and offering help with free shredding.
Hats off to these students and for giving their most valuable gift to Goodwill: their time! Goodwill loves our donors, shoppers AND volunteers who help us fulfill our Mission: to help change lives through the power of work!

The Power of UIW Volunteers

This November, 6 students from the University of the Incarnate Word volunteered at our Blanco store. The group of Pharmacy students assisted with donations, shoppers and general help in support of our Mission: to help change lives through the power of work. These volunteers helped to create a financial impact of around $3,500 in potential sales for Goodwill!
Volunteer groups and the difference they impact they can make at Goodwill and to our community are efforts to be applauded! Since January, over 6,000 volunteers worked over 146,000 hours towards our Mission. Great job!
