Our Performance Excellence Journey

Goodwill maintains a continuous cycle of quality improvement and strives to provide excellence in service to our customers. Our quality journey has led us to pursue certifications in various areas of our organization.

    Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
    Goodwill maintains the highest level of CARF accreditation in our workforce development unit. Our workforce development staff is trained to offer services and recarf2ferrals tailored to an individual’s needs. By being CARF accredited, we demonstrate our commitment to continually improving our services. For more information on CARF, please visit their website at www.carf.org.

    International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
    Goodwill has become  ISO certified in all areas of our contract business lines - document management, facilities services, and facility based (work center) operations. iso_logo2This external certification provides another element of confidence to our customers that we can meet and exceed their requirements.     Texas Award for Performance Excellencetexas_award2
    We were also recently named a recipient of the 2006 Texas Award for Performance Excellence, the state’s highest honor for quality and organizational performance. This award recognizes Texas organizations that excel in performance, quality and customer satisfaction and is one of the most respected state programs. We are the first community based non-profit to receive this recognition!  This Baldrige based state awards program can be reviewed further at www.texas-quality.org.

    Baldridge National Quality Program
    As Goodwill continues its journey to world-class performance, the organization is internally assessing its performance against the Malcolm Baldridge National Standards.
