Saving For the Future

With Goodwill's Individual Development Accounts, workers who qualify can save $1 out of their paycheck and be matched with between $3 and $4 to save for a first home, a car or their education. Where else can you get that kind of return on investment? Help bring these programs to your workforce to create asset building, the best way to break the cycle of poverty.


Good Health at Goodwill

Through a unique (and recognized) partnership with public health, Goodwill offers a complete repertoire of preventive health services, such as immunizations, diabetes screenings and educational efforts. When you partner with Goodwill, you gain access to our mobile health fairs and onsite clinics. San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley recently accepted a North American City Award for this service in our community.


Financial Strengthening

Many employees qualify for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at Goodwill, whereby income tax returns are processed for free and saving of a portion of the return is encouraged. We also offer financial literacy classes to help employees understand how to budget and save for the future. Goodwill currently offers CompTia IT certifications in A+ and Net+, as well as Medical Front Office, Certified Nursing Assistant and much more.
